The already high anti-microbial activity of Coast Manuka
Oil has been further enhanced by the, non-chemical, removal of much of the
lighter fractions of the oil.
This has concentrated the active fractions i.e., Flavesone,
Isoleptospermone and Leptospermone (Triketones), and resulted in much higher
potency against gram positive organisms and many fungi, at the same time
reducing the aroma of the oil.
This combination of effects make Low Aroma Manuka Oil ideal
for cosmetic applications and also a powerful tool in combating MRSA and
Streptoccal infections.

Analysis of Coast Low Aroma Manuka Oil shows with the less active fractions removed, Flavesone,
Isoleptospermone and Leptospermone levels are enhanced.
